BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

We all expect blessings from others. Always we look upon God for His divine and unconditional blessings in our life. Hardly we think, whether we are worthy or eligible for the blessings from the most high, as we rarely seek His will in our lives.

We sincerely believe that all what we enjoy today are the blessings of God and He is the one who has brought us thus far. Our hard work and wise decisions may have a role in our prosperity, but unless we had the divine blessings, we wouldn't have achieved anything.

We wish to have the blessings of our parents, teachers and elders. In order to receive these blessings, we need to respect them, because the blessings will come out only from a satisfied heart.

We find some people cursing others. There must be some reason behind it. The pain or vengeance in some one's heart is translated into words of curses.

While we receive blessings from God and men, we also need to bless others. The words of blessings that come out of our mouth will make others happy and will impart a kind of confidence and positive energy in them.

We are blessed to be a blessing to others. The gifts which God has given us, including the talents, are to be used for the benefit of others. God said to Abraham, " I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others" --- Genesis 12:1-3.

It may be very easy for us to bless those who bless us. But what about those who are our enemies? Can we bless them? It seems to be very difficult. Isn't it? But God want us to bless even those who persecute us. They may not be happy in our present status of well being in the society and may be jealous about our growth or reputation. But we need to bless them from our heart. If we happen to meet them, tell them "God bless you". This will change their attitude.

Jesus Said," But I tell you who hear me Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, BLESS THOSE WHO CURSE YOU, pray for those who mistreat you".... Luke 6: 27-28.

God wants us to be a blessing to others. When God bless you financially, don't raise your standard of living, but raise your standard of giving.

The more we bless others, the more we receive blessings from God.
